Collaboration with Sea Butchers

Bar Douro is delighted to announce a collaboration with Talho do Mar (Sea Butchers), a project conceived by Nuno Nobre, international consultant on sustainable food systems, who is on a mission to raise awareness around sustainable ways to eat fish in our oceans.


The dinners will be hosted on 6th April, 11th May and 8th June, each focusing on a different marine family, including fish, crustaceans and bivalves. Seafood eggs and seaweeds will be showcased throughout.

For £80 per person, a seven course menu will include two amuse bouches & five dishes, prepared by Chef Rodrigo Alves (Chiltern Firehouse) & Bar Douro Executive Chef, Neuza Leal. 


For an additional £40, this menu will be perfectly paired with five Portuguese wines thoughtfully selected by Bar Douro founder Max Graham, supplied by specialist Portuguese importer and Decanter’s Best Portuguese retailer of the year, Festa Wine.
