Join us for an evening inspired by Madeira’s rich fishing traditions. Guests will enjoy a four-course menu prepared by Bar Douro Executive Chef Neuza Leal, showcasing the island’s specialist produce and authentic flavours. 

The menu showcases fish from Madeira’s Atlantic waters, including the deep-sea Black Scabbardfish, caught more than 1,000 metres below the surface, while also honouring heritage techniques such as the preparation of Gaiado Seco (dried skipjack tuna). Highlights include Peixe-Espada Preto (black scabbardfish tempura with passion fruit) and stewed octopus served in Bolo do Caco, the island’s traditional flatbread.

 

To accompany the menu, our specials board will feature iconic still wines from Porto Santo alongside fortified wines from Madeira Vintners.
